Get to know Terra Skåne – the new old world of wine – and the wines of the Bjäre Peninsula. At Torekov Hotel, you stay perfectly located for a tour of the vineyards. Most welcome visitors for much of the year, but bookings are required. Here, we guide you through our vibrant wine region.

From Torekov Hotel, you’ll find a handful of vineyards within an hour’s drive. The closest is Thora Vingård, just five minutes away. You can also easily reach it by bike, which you can rent from us. We recommend booking your vineyard visits in advance.

If you prefer not to leave the hotel, our Bistro is a perfect alternative for sampling local wine. Here, we always offer a selection of local wines and are happy to share our knowledge.

Thora Vingård

Thora Vingård is a family-owned vineyard on the Bjäre Peninsula. The estate is run with a clear vision of sustainability and quality. Here, grapes are grown on a small scale with a focus on caring for the soil and careful winemaking. Visitors can book tastings where the vineyard’s wines are presented in the context of terroir and craftsmanship, often led by the family themselves. The rural setting and personal approach provide an authentic insight into Swedish winemaking, making Thora Vingård a place to both learn and enjoy. The vineyard grows Solaris, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Gamay, and Chenin Blanc.

Ljungbyholms Vingård

Ljungbyholms Vingård is located in the open landscape between Båstad and Ängelholm. Grapes are grown on 4 hectares, and the wines are produced with a focus on elegance and quality, guided by the characteristics of the soil. Visitors can book tastings, tours, and other events, where they can follow the vineyard’s work and taste the wines in their natural setting. The vineyard also produces its own range of spirits, including gin, brandy, liqueurs, and various fruit brandies. The vineyard grows Solaris, Phönix, Ortega, Riesel, Souvignier Gris, Regent, Rondo, Cabernet Cortis, Cabernet Noir, and Bolero.

Natural Wines on the Bjäre Peninsula

Vejby Vingård

Vejby Vingård is run according to the philosophy that wine should be made in harmony with nature’s own rhythm. Here, grapes are grown without chemicals, and each bottle of natural wine carries traces of the salty wind from the Bjäre Peninsula. The vineyard offers tastings where visitors can follow the entire process – from living soil to finished wine – often explained by the producer themselves. The vineyard also hosts cultural meetings and discussions that deepen the experience and show how wine can be both craftsmanship and community. The vineyard grows Regent, Cabernet Colonjes, Cabernet Cortis, Cabernet Vineta, Pinotin, and Solaris.

Arilds Vingård

Arilds Vingård is one of Sweden’s largest vineyards, beautifully situated on the Kulla Peninsula. The estate produces several types of Swedish wine and welcomes visitors for tastings, tours, and seasonal dining experiences. The combination of well-developed winemaking, dedicated hosts, and the character of the location makes Arilds a destination that attracts visitors year-round. The vineyard grows Solaris, Muscaris, Souvignier Gris, Cabernet Cortis, Pinot Noir Précoce, Felicia, Villaris, Cardinal Soleil, and several experimental varieties.

The Home of the Nobel Wine

Kullabergs Vingård

Kullabergs Vingård is renowned for its long-term commitment to quality, both in wine and craft beverages. Grapes are grown with a focus on biodiversity, and the vineyard’s wines, ciders, and spirits have gained international recognition. Its flagship wine, Immelen, not only won The Swedish Wine Tasting but was also served with the main course at the 2025 Nobel Banquet – a milestone for Swedish wine. Visitors can book tastings and guided tours to follow the work behind the vineyard’s experimental and quality-driven production. Over 30 grape varieties are grown on the estate, primarily Solaris, Pinot Nova, Souvignier Gris, Cabaret Noir, Muscaris, Donauriesling, Merlot Kanthus, as well as Rondo and Regent.

Aftonmora Vingård

It takes a few years before a vineyard produces its first harvest. In the coming years, more vineyards will begin harvesting and producing their first wines, open to visitors, and continue the journey toward becoming a Swedish wine region.
