About Torekov Hotel

Torekov Hotel – surrounded by nature, defined by personal service and with the sea right around the corner

Torekov Hotel is a small and personal hideaway, offering locally sourced cuisine, soothing spa moments, and the refreshing embrace of nature right outside your door. A tranquil haven for anyone longing for rest, relaxation, and true enjoyment.

Set in one of Skåne’s most cherished places—where the sea meets the heath and tranquility truly takes hold—Torekov Hotel draws its spirit from the Kattegat’s winds, the salty scent of seaweed, and the shifting light that plays across the cliffs throughout the day. It lives in the calm that rises with those first steps toward the water. Here, we are shaped for rejuvenation, peace, and experiences that feel authentic, grounded, and close to nature. You’ll find us at the tip of the Bjäre Peninsula, near Båstad, with sweeping views toward Kullaberg.

Our Philosophy

Hospitality: At Torekov Hotel, hospitality means listening to the rhythm of each guest. Perhaps your morning begins with a cold dip in the sea, or maybe with a quiet cup of coffee on the terrace. We follow your pace — not the other way around.

Food Philosophy: Our cuisine is shaped by the landscape and the farms that surround us. Fish from nearby waters, potatoes and strawberries from neighbours who know their soil by heart, and flavours that move gently with the seasons. We cook with respect for nature and for the origins of every ingredient.

Service: Our service is rooted in simplicity and sincerity. A calm tempo, attentive presence, and a feeling that you can always ask, always pause, and always be yourself.

The Team Behind Torekov Hotel

We are a group of people connected by one simple thing: a genuine love for nature and for meeting others with warmth.

Operations Manager Ellen Nåfält brings a blend of holistic perspective and personal care.

Head Chef Axel Westeson finds inspiration in the sea, the shifting seasons, and ingredients that still carry the character of the soil they grew in.

Our Spa and Activity Hosts let nature flow into every experience — from cold-water swims and sunrise yoga to restorative rituals.

Reception is our welcoming heart, where every guest is greeted with presence, ease, and genuine attention.

We work together — with one another, with our surroundings, and with the spirit of this place. To us, Torekov isn’t just a workplace; it’s part of our own lives.

The Place We Call Home

Torekov is more than a destination. It is generations of summer memories and endless potato fields — a place of rugged beauty where the views are never still. Morning mist drifting over the sea, sunsets washing the sky in warm colors, heaths scented with heather and salt. Here, nature is both the backdrop and the main character.

Wander along the cliffs, cycle across open fields, take a boat to the little nature reserve island Hallands Väderö, swim year-round, or simply sit quietly and watch the sea move and shift. This is the place that has shaped us — and the place we hope you’ll experience in your own way.

What We Offer

We offer a complete experience shaped by the calm of the coast and the ever-changing beauty of nature.

Accommodation: Rooms and hotel houses in soft, natural tones — created for rest and each with its own private terrace.

Gastronomy: A culinary philosophy grounded in local ingredients, Skåne traditions, and the presence of the sea.

Spa: Warm outdoor baths, pools, saunas, treatments, and rituals that give your body room to unwind and recover.

Conferences: Settings embraced by nature, helping groups think more clearly, connect more deeply, and let creativity grow.

Sustainability

Running a hotel in one of Sweden’s most cherished coastal landscapes brings both joy and responsibility. Our sustainability work is woven into everything we do — from local collaborations and energy-efficient operations to reduced transport and thoughtful choices in materials, menus, and everyday decisions. We are proud to be a Swan-labeled hotel.

We work with a long-term perspective — for this place, for the sea, and for the generations who will one day experience Torekov’s unique nature.

Open All Year

Torekov Hotel is open year-round, offering a memorable stay in every season. While the Bjäre Peninsula is often associated with summer sun, sea swims, and coastal charm, it is just as captivating in winter. Enjoy crisp sea breezes, quiet walks in the nature reserve along the shore followed by a warm sauna and a cozy atmosphere with fires indoors. With comfortable accommodation and nature’s beauty always close at hand, Torekov Hotel is a place to return to — in summer, in winter, and every moment in between.

Why Our Guests Keep Coming Back

Many of our guests come back for the feeling — the stillness, the warmth, the gentle rhythm that settles in after the first night. They cherish the sense of being present in nature, the personal hospitality, and how every detail — from the food to the surroundings — reflects the calm of this unique place.

It is this kind of appreciation that means the most to us.
